WCBC Tender for Accountancy Work
The WCBC Board intend to award this following a competed contract process. The contracted company will be named as WCBC auditor for 2010-11.
We are asking for expressions of interest and a written price to undertake the work from Cumbrian-based and WCBC Member companies by 12 noon on the 19 March 2010. This should be submitted on company letterhead with a named contact.

Smith+Bell Design win UN contract
West Cumbria Business Cluster members Smith+Bell Design, based in Cockermouth, recently won the contract to design and layout a magazine for the United Nations in Vienna.
'Making It: Industry for Development' is a quarterly magazine aiming to stimulate debate about global industrial development issues. It is published by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Major investment in West Cumbria by local company
West Cumbrian based James Fisher Nuclear Services (JFNS) has this week initiated a major project to significantly expand its engineering systems trials and testing capability in West Cumbria.
