The WCBC's eboc'09 conference in West Cumbria was on 7 and 8 July, and was to help local, national and international businesses take advantage of commercial opportunities in the energy market.
The conference covered opportunities and updates from all major energy sectors:
- Nuclear
- Renewables
- Electricity Transmission
- Oil & Gas
- Energy Conservation.
World-class suppliers and energy businesses provided invaluable information on national contract and market opportunities across the energy sector. The full programme of high-profile speakers was complemented by a BtoB Exhibition and Business Support Zone, with advice on breaking into new markets.
Organised by West Cumbria Business Cluster (WCBC) alongside partner organisations, it promotes West Cumbria – Britain’s Energy Coast™, and was held at Energus, the new conference and training centre in West Cumbria, that forms the flagship delivery arm of the National Skills Academy for Nuclear.
